GetAV.NET is prepared to cooperate with lawful requests from law enforcement agencies while protecting user privacy to the extent permitted by law.
1. Data Retention
We retain limited user data. We do not store:
- Real names or physical addresses, unless voluntarily provided;
- Payment information, which is processed by third parties; or
- Original video files, because we operate as an indexing service.
We may retain:
- IP addresses (logs are typically retained for 7 days);
- Email addresses for registered users; and
- User-generated content such as comments and playlists.
2. Submitting a Request
All law enforcement requests must be supported by formal and valid legal process issued by a competent authority, such as a subpoena, court order, or search warrant.

3. Required Information
To help us process a request efficiently, please provide:
- Specific IP address(es), email address(es), or user ID(s);
- The relevant date(s), time(s), and timezone(s);
- The legal basis for the request, including the law or offense involved; and
- Official contact information for the requesting agency.
4. Emergency Requests
If a matter involves an imminent threat of death, serious physical injury, or CSAM, please mark the subject line "EMERGENCY." We will prioritize such requests.
5. User Notification
We reserve the right to notify affected users of requests for their information unless notification is prohibited by law or we reasonably believe it would interfere with an investigation, such as in emergency matters or CSAM cases.
